Deciding to paint the upstairs of the Condo AND the ceilings has been one of the most work intensive projects and frustrating to date.  I suppose getting it all done at once now seems worth it but the process took two weeks of total disarray.

But now to the good part! The condo was originally painted a white beige, we updated to todays grays and grunge neutrals .  The mantle  was made a focal point, the room wall was painted Icy Avalanche by SW but the mantle wall was painted a SW reproduction of Farrow & Ball’s Elephant Breath- probably my favorite neutral.

If you look at the far right photo, the mantle wall was painted by another company copy of Elephant’ breath but it was  a wrong recipe too purple.  The SW copy was much more true to BF’s color

BTW- do you see the dark blue cabinet color by the kitchen stools? A SW copy of BR Stiffkey Blue- another favorite Barrow & Fall color.  I love that paint but there is no shop near me.  However, the SW people did a very good job matching that color for me.  Blue is my companion color, accent color for the redesign of the condo.

A later post will show another pop of that color.
